GODMOTHER’S is inspired by the seasons, by nature, and by the hands that care for every leaf. Rooted in pleasure, ritual, and culture, we believe the energy you consume transforms your reality.
Founded by two sisters, we grew up in a family devoted to crops and harvests in the Spanish countryside. We witnessed how nature blooms, rests, and moves in cycles that cannot be rushed. That connection with the land continues to guide us, reminding us that cultivation is not production; it is legacy.
From an early age, we developed a profound respect for the unseen labour behind every ingredient and the delicate balance between nature, craft, and time. Cultivars became compositions. Each combination creates depth, harmony, and sophistication. Many of our answers were found in plants, and art, where we learned to see the world in layers, textures, and subtle details.
Our Signature Ceremonial Organic Matcha reflects this philosophy. Crafted from single-origin Okumidori and Saemidori cultivars from Uji and Kagoshima, it offers nourishing energy, fierce focus, and balanced calm.

Sourcing
Our Commitment to Ethical Sourcing
At GODMOTHER'S Matcha, we take pride in our sourcing process. GODMOTHER'S matcha standards run-high. We collaborate closely with independent farms in Japan to ensure the highest quality matcha cultivars. The cultivars to create our Signature Blend are harvested during spring. The younger and tender leaves conserve most of their nutrients and vibrant colour without risking their silky and umami notes. This first harvest is more environmentally sustainable as it helps to preserve the tea plant and to promote land health.
Matcha cultivars are shaped by the environment, the climate, the terroir, the water and the harvesting techniques. That’s why we appreciate the way our community of farmers harvest the matcha. The secret is to love the earth and the land. We are committed to always finding the most adequate sources to bring you the most enriching matcha for your palate. Always being good for you.
